Learn about Westlake Presbyterian Church
Driven by our mission “to be a caring Christian community, seeking sharing and serving, all to the glory of God,” Westlake Presbyterian is a reformed church in Battle Creek that focuses on contemporary worship. Working within the community – and as a community – our four ministries provide congregants with opportunities for worship, devotion, discussion and fellowship.
Affiliated with Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA), Westlake Presbyterian served by a board of Ruling Elders. The Ruling Elders, elected every year to serve the church for three year terms, guide Westlake in its mission to serve the community. Offering youth groups, confirmation services, blended worship, Vacation Bible School, Christian education, Sunday school and fellowship opportunities, we strive to provide our congregants – and everyone – with a variety of ways to serve, honor and spread the love of God.
Every Sunday, the church holds a blended service. From Labor Day to Memorial Day, worship begins at 10:30 a.m. and during the summer, it begins at 10:00 a.m. Our services integrate all members of the community – young and old – and all modes of worship, from the traditional to the contemporary. We are, above all else, dedicated to worshiping God through prayers, confession, music, videos, voices and texts.
