Fellowship Opportunities at Westlake Presbyterian Church

If you've been looking for fellowship at a Battle Creek Church, Westlake Presbyterian Church has a vast range of opportunities available. Striving to create strong community bonds by providing our congregants with ways to contribute to our contemporary worship, we provide a number of opportunities that are certain to appeal to all people and all interests.

Parent’s day out

At different times throughout the year, Westlake offers parents the opportunity to take a bit of a break and leave their children at the church to learn about God. During their stay, we play games, eat snacks, learn a Bible lesson and sing songs.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, we team with the Family Enrichment Center to host a Vacation Bible School at our church. Welcoming about 70 children into our Sanctuary to learn about key Bible points, sing and dance, children navigate to different classes throughout the building to build crafts, play games and watch videos containing Bible lessons.

Naomi-Ruth Circle

The Naomi-Ruth Circle is a group of women who gather on Wednesday afternoons to fellowship and study together. The group follows an ever-changing curriculum that focuses on building bonds within the circle and encouraging spiritual growth.

Properties care group

Our church is blessed to have a group of dedicated individuals who tend to the property every week. Handling a range of tasks, from mowing grass and pulling weeds to shoveling snow and raking leaves, we are extremely grateful to this group for maintaining the property for both church and the community use.

Reader’s group

The Westlake reading group meets regularly to practice reading the Scripture, skits, poetry and monologues that are used during our contemporary worship. Led by the church’s music director, the group welcomes any – and all – congregants to join.
